Salidroside is a bioactive compound classified as a phenylpropanoid glycoside. It's found naturally in certain plant species, notably Rhodiola rosea, also known as golden root or Arctic root, which grows in cold regions of the world including the Arctic, central Asia, and certain mountainous regions.
Salidroside can inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells by disturbing cell metabolism and changing the nature of the cell coat, and at the same time increase the conversion of T-lymphocytes and phagocytosis, enhance immunity, inhibit the growth of tumors, and increase white blood cells, resist microwave radiation and other effects.
